1. Introduction
Our team works hard with sellers to make sure shipping is as fast and easy as possible.
After a buyer completes a purchase, we provide their shipping details to the seller so they can ship the item without delay.
When a buyer add a new payment to their Fanmeka account, we encourage buyers to double-check that their shipping details are up-to-date.
2. Calling All Sellers!
Ship Quickly & Safely: Please ensure you ship your items within two business days of sale. Carefully package your items to ensure they arrive safely.
- There are a few instances where you may have extenuating circumstances, or an item you are selling may exceed our shipping guidelines due to the nature of the item, such as customised goods. In these cases:
- Email usersupport@fanmeka.com before you list the item for sale or host a livestream, detailing why the shipment of these items may be delayed.
- When listing and presenting the item, indicate that the item is customised and indicate your plans regarding shipping the item.
Don’t Abuse Shipping Pricing: If you abuse shipping pricing, you may be subject to corrective action and billed back for incorrect shipping charges. Examples of abuse of our shipping pricing include:
- Setting unreasonably low initial shipping prices when listing / presenting your item and then insisting on additional payments to cover revised / actual shipping costs.
- Setting excessively high shipping prices, which essentially sees you profiting from the shipment of items sold on Fanmeka.
Here are a few things buyers should know about shipping:
- Currently, Fanmeka, and all sellers using the platform, ship to all countries within the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
- Shipping costs are determined by the seller. We strongly encourage all Fanmeka sellers to accurately estimate shipping costs, based on potential destination and weight of the item, utilising online resources provided by shipping carriers. Where we see evidence of sellers systemically over-estimating shipping costs, we will take appropriate action, up to and including, removing those sellers from the platform.
- Fanmeka encourages all sellers to use reputable shipping carriers, where tracking of the item is possible. Tracking an item during shipping greatly enhances the integrity of both the seller and Fanmeka, and provides buyers with greater confidence that their shipment is on the way.
- The buyer is responsible for all local custom duty and import taxes.
4. Shipping Timelines
Sellers are required to ship orders within 2 business days of the item being sold and receipt of payment confirmation.
Buyers should expect a typical order purchased through Fanmeka to arrive within 14 days. However, buyers should appreciate that an item being shipped from a very distant country may take longer.
Please note, many shipping carriers do not offer guaranteed delivery times for international packages, and depending on your country's postal and custom services it can take a longer period of time.
