1. Introduction

We Are A Community! In the rollercoaster of victories and defeats, the communal experience of supporting your favourite team or athlete forms a powerful bond that resonates beyond the playing surface, creating a mosaic of shared memories and a sense of belonging to a passionate and unwavering community.

Poor conduct on Fanmeka, jeopardises the safety and trustworthiness for all of our users. Consequently, when users violate our Community Guidelines, or any other Fanmeka policy, they may be subject to enforcement action(s), dependent upon the severity, frequency, and type of violations.

2. Enforcement Actions

For most violations of our Community Guidelines, or any other Fanmeka policy, we will be issuing one of the following actions:

  • Warning: We’ll send a warning notifying you of the violation; no further corrective action will be taken at this time.
  • Reduced Visibility: In the case of a seller, your account / livestreams may temporarily become less visible / discoverable to buyers.
  • Suspension: You will temporarily lose access to the platform for between 2 and 7 days, depending on the violation. The specific duration of any suspension, along with the rationale, will be communicated
  • Ban: For repeated or the most serious offenses, including combinations of differing types of violations, we will permanently ban your account.

The action that a user receives depends on the severity and frequency of the violation. For less severe violations, we typically issue a warning on the first offense.

Some violations may expire after a period of time if the user has since demonstrated improved conduct.

⚠️ Important Note: During ongoing investigations, we may temporarily suspend your access to features, including your ability to live stream.

2.1 Sample Scenario

Scenario: A user, via Fanmeka, is soliciting contact / engagement with another user off-platform (e.g. email, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, etc).

Enforcement Action(s):

  • Once identified, the user would receive a warning via email.
  • If the behaviour continues, the user would receive one further warning followed by a temporary reduction in discoverability.
  • If the behaviour continues, the user would receive a temporary suspension of between 2 and 7 days.
  • Upon reinstatement, if the behaviour continues, the user would be permanently banned from Fanmeka.

3. Appeals

Please note that you will have the opportunity to appeal any action against you. You can respond directly to the violation email. If you have any additional questions, please contact usersupport@fanmeka.com.
